April + Nobi's // East-Meets-West Wedding

 

We instantly fell in love with April's vision of her dress.  Her style is classic and regal.  Although April is having a traditional Chinese style wedding, she knew she wanted something that was Grace Kelly-esque dress to walk down the aisle with.  We took a classic silhouette and updated the look with beaded lace, lightly gathered tulle waistband, and slit at her voluminous skirt that she can show off her beautiful red pumps with. 

We found this gorgeous embroidered lace that has these sweet scalloped edges that works beautifully with her long sleeved, plunging v-neckline design.  We went back and forth a couple times on the v shaped neckline and the final result was so elegant and it perfectly curved down her neck.  

One of our favorite parts of her dress is the pearl beadings on her lace bodice.  Each pearl followed the embroidered design that gave another layer of dimension to her dress and gave her extra sparkle that elevated her look.
